Your results come in five columns. You can sort the data by clicking on the arrows at the top of each column. For example, if you want to see the largest contribution at the top, click on the UP Arrow on the Amount column. If you want to see the contributor names in alpahbetical order, hit the Up Arrow over the From Name column.


From Name
    The person or committee the money came from. The contributor if the record is a contribution, the candidate / PAC / committee if the record is an expenditure.
Amount
    The amount of money, what the in-kind gift was worth, the amount of the loan, etc.
Transaction Date
    The date on which the money was contributed or recieved.
Recipient Name
    Who recieved the money. Perhaps a candidate if the record is a contribution, perhaps a political consultant or a florist if the record is an expenditure.
CFIC Data Source Name
    Records come from the FEC, various State Boards of Election or non-profit research groups. It's important that you note the source(s) of the record
