Campaign Finance: The OTHER Side

April 2, 1997 -- There have been so many allegations of fundraising abuse during the last presidential and congressional elections, it seems anyone who makes a contribution expects something in return. But there are millions of Americans who write checks to candidates for no reason other than to help them get elected.
NPR's Elizabeth Arnold reports on one Senator -- Carol Moseley-Braun of Chicago -- and the ordinary citizens who contribute to her re-election campaign.
